Ideaworks3D Ltd, a leading mobile games and wireless technology provider has announced that Eidos Interactive, one of Europe's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, has appointed Ideaworks3D, to develop "Tomb Raider Starring Lara Croft" and "Pandemonium" for the Nokia N-Gage mobile game deck. Featuring ground breaking mobile game services and wireless multiplayer functionality, both titles take full advantage of the mobility that Nokia's N-Gage game deck brings to gaming.

Visitors to the Nokia stand at this year's E3 exhibition in Los Angeles had the opportunity to experience first hand demonstrations of some examples of these exciting features running live on the Nokia N-Gage mobile game deck.

"Tomb Raider Starring Lara Croft" on Nokia N-Gage(tm) brings this blockbuster franchise to the multiplayer arena for the first time, with head-to-head competitive play enabled by AirPlay(tm) and Black-Box(tm), Ideaworks3D's industry leading GPRS wireless gaming technologies. By integrating these unique wireless gaming technologies, the original game developed by Core Design has been extended by Ideaworks3D to include mobile gaming services of unparalleled richness. Example services will include advanced head to head multiplayer wirelessly networked gaming tournaments as well as the ability for players to direct, edit and share their own cinematic game play sequences over the mobile network.

Pandemonium is a classic and critically acclaimed 3D platform game released across multiple video game platforms. The game was originally developed by Crystal Dynamics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eidos Interactive, and has now been brought to the Nokia N-Gage using Ideaworks3D's renowned Segundo3D(tm) mobile graphics technology. On Nokia N-Gage, the original console and PC experience is reproduced in picture perfect form, setting a new benchmark for mobile console graphics. The original game experience is extended with a host of exciting new wireless features, including Bluetooth multiplayer, downloadable tips, tricks and cheats as well as mobile network multiplayer tournaments.

"We are thrilled to be entrusted by Eidos to adapt the iconic Tomb Raider franchise, together with modern classics such as Pandemonium, to the Nokia N-Gage," said Adrian Sack CEO of Ideaworks3D Ltd. "Our industry-leading Segundo3D game conversion technology enabled us to bring these exciting titles to the Nokia N-Gage game deck with unparalleled efficiency and graphic performance, allowing us to concentrate our efforts on collaborating with Eidos and Nokia to bring uniquely entertaining and original wireless gaming experiences to these Nokia N-Gage titles."

"Ideaworks3D has a great pedigree as a leading developer of mobile games, said Simon Protheroe, technical director, Eidos Interactive. "We are very impressed with the quality of both titles and the way Ideaworks3D has enhanced the original game play experience with unique wireless features."
